Plastic comb binding doesn't open 360° like other mechanical binding styles, but it holds two distinct advantages over its relatives: first, its spine can be imprinted by either foil stamping or screen printing. Second, pages can be added or removed as desired, making plastic comb binding suitable for extended-use applications. If either of these features are important to you, choose plastic comb binding.
