DIRECT MAIL EFFICIENCIES
The United States Postal Service (USPS) has been at it again. Can you believe that the USPS has raised rates twice in six months? This just puts more pressure on direct mailers and printers. It’s now more important than ever to help your customers produce pieces that sail through the U.S. mail stream at the lowest possible cost. If you’re working on a direct mail piece that requires right angle timed perforating, micro-perforating or scoring, call us to see if we can help. As mentioned last month, our new Rollem TR-42 is due in August.

Visit http://www.usps.com/ratecase/newrates.pdf to download the new postal rates for yourself. (Adobe’s Acrobat Reader is required.)

ONLINE SHIPPING
Save time and money with E & M Bindery’s online shipping services. If you provide us an Excel or text file with appropriate shipping information, we can upload your data directly into a UPS manifest. This will reduce your handling costs by nearly half. In addition, you can easily track your UPS or FedEx projects online.

WAFER SEAL RIGHT
1) To qualify for automation rates, refolded flats usually need to be wafer sealed. On most stocks, design your project so that the wafer sealed area is at the top of the piece, requiring only one wafer seal.

ANNUAL REPORT SEASON IS ALMOST HERE
Gear up for Annual Report season. At E & M Bindery, we’re doing our part. We have a 12,000/hr. Muller Martini Norm perfect binder on order. This is quite a piece of equipment and will be the new flagship of our three-machine perfect binding department. We’ll let you know more later about the unique capabilities of this machine.

SWING INTO ACTION ...
... at the AGC/NJ golf outing at the Knoll Country Club in Parsippany, New Jersey on Thursday, August 30, 2001. E & M Bindery is a proud sponsor of a hole.
