1) Wire-O
2) Perfect Binding
3) Shrink Wrapping Makes It Complete

There are many cover design possibilities in the Wire-O world. Some are as follows:

Split Back: Common style. Separate front & back covers. Easily opens back-to-back.

Square Back: Partially hidden Wire-O is exposed on the front and back covers.

Back Bind: Partially hidden Wire-O is exposed on the back cover only.

Table Tent/Easel: Free standing, triangular cover. Pages flip easily.

Fully Concealed: Allows for an expandable inside cover for a large spread image. The back flap can be pasted down or left free. Great for spine printing.

Reverse: A one-piece cover style that opens with the “spine” wrapping the face.

E & M Bindery can bind your Wire-O projects with any of these covers or more. In addition, we feature automatic calendar hanger insertion, inline drilling and T-slotting.

PERFECT BINDING
Spine Color Breaks Require Planning. Before laying out your cover, get a pre-production sample (bulking dummy) made. Paper bulk varies between manufacturers and different lots of the same brand of paper. Moreover, weather and humidity affect paper thickness. Major problems occur when book blocks are thinner or thicker than expected.

Perfect Binders with Electronic Image Scanners.
Ascending 1/8" printed spine markers are a thing of the past for companies like E & M Bindery which have the latest scanning technology. With these types of systems, it’s virtually impossible to mis-load pockets.

SHRINK WRAPPING
What good are excellently manufactured books if their covers are unintentionally scuffed or marked? Unfortunately, most marking happens after jobs have been beautifully produced. Unless preventative measures are taken, abrasive paper surfaces can rub against each other and cause marking as products are jostled around in transit. Problematic inks such as reflex blue, metallics and purples only make these problems worse. An inexpensive solution? High-speed, cost effective shrink wrapping.
